I am Kaban no Neko! Six cats in a bag! I dabble in a number of things, including writing, art, and maybe a bit of vtubing/pngtubing. We want to make this into something like a hub for our creative work aside from the videos we have on YouTube. Because, really, videos aren't our first thing...

June 2024

• 06232024 - Man, I have not been updating much outside the blog, huh? Anyway, taking out the About section. Now thinking it's way too confusing and kind of not really reflecting who I am (plus the fact that it's kind of too self-focused, and I don't wanna be that lol). I'll just let people make their own opinion and whatnot.
• 06082024 - Way too anxious to keep the chatbox, so I removed it. However, I did put in Chattable's button on the Buttons page in case you all are interested.
• 06032024 - Added the Karambola playthrough to the review. Figured it was a bit of a missed opportunity considering I did record myself playing it lol.
• 06012024 - Updated the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak Challenge log. As mentioned in the blog, updates are mostly going to be on Saturdays, regardless of whatever's going to be updated.

May 2024

• 05272024 - Things are still pretty busy IRL, so it's still blog posts for now.
• 05152024 - Updated the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak Challenge log. Also noticed that I didn't put anything about the previous update here lol
• 05142024 - Forgot to note (again), but it's just blog posts for now. Might post something else tomorrow.
• 05112024 - Took out the Shop button cause really, there is no such thing (at least, right now).
• 05102024 - Removing the Ko-Fi widget as mentioned in yesterday's blog post (hence the mass edits). Why beg if I will earn, right?
• 05092024 - Gonna be talking about something later on the blog. Just have to get the details together first. Talked about the future job on the blog. (Yes, I got a job!)
• 05072024 - Posted a review for Karambola. Been a while since I've played a completely unfamiliar game indeed lol. Also posted a review for Kutya, which I've been sitting on for a while since I don't know how to approach reviewing a Twine story. I guess I gotta learn.

April 2024

• 04262024 - Been adding blog entries. That's pretty much it lol.
• 04242024 - Added an entry to the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak Challenge log and to the blog.
• 04222024 - Added reviews for WOWOWOW KORONE BOX and 100 Hidden Frogs.
• 04182024 - Updated the blog. Also removed a button, since apparently, they've disappeared. No use for buttons for a non-existent site, right? EDIT: Added another silly little thing to Cat Scratches!
• 04172024 - Updated the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak Challenge log. Also put a bit of a note there regarding the log...
• 04152024 - Added something silly to the Cat Scratches page.
• 04102024 - Updated the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak Challenge log. Also updated the Ibong Adarna book notes after a long time. Noticed that there were other webpages that didn't have the favicon, so fixed that too.
• 04082024 - Not that many notable website updates, but it's mostly a blog post, as well as some small game making updates.
• 04062024 - No notable website updates, but there's a blog post and a new Short video. (lol I really should announce these more)
• 04042024 - Added another part to the Novel App Takeaways (which I had written some time ago, I just didn't post lol). Also, I might add something else later.
• 04032024 - Updated the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak Challenge log. Also added a bit more to the game making log and added a log for Leaning on a Stranger. Will likely put up similar pages for other games in progress later on. lol now I noticed that I actually like making logs, it's just that I forget a lot.
• 04012024 - Just a blog day today. And no, while it may be very tempting, I don't want to do an April Fools' thing. I've been thinking it, but no, ultimately, it's effort for nothing.

March 2024

• 03272024 - Added an entry for the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak Challenge log.
• 03252024 - Added another button to the Buttons page. Was going to add two, actually, but one of the sites didn't have any buttons (yet). There might also be another thing added later to the site.
• 03232024 - Added a Buttons page. You can see the link near the top blurb of this page. Also added something to the game making log and added the first few pieces for Novel App Writing Takeaways in the Writing page. And decided to not be lazy and put in links when available...
• 03192024 - I actually uploaded a post, but it's better connected to the next one, so I'm gonna hold off on making it visible until the next one is done/next ones are done. Also, the stories that are up here (that I know are not finished, I'm sorry) might be uploaded in a different format sometime in the future, so they might disappear as they are now. Also, I've been kind of iffy on continuing some of them because of personal convictions. But let's see what happens, I guess. EDIT: I gotta make a page for other people's buttons at some point! There are a lot of cool and inspiring people here and might as well follow and link to them.
• 03162024 - Uploaded another post called "Honest Work Is Honest Work".
• 03142024 - I don't know why I didn't think of doing it, but I changed the Vids link to go directly to the Bag Cats channel. It doesn't make sense to keep including the Kaban no Neko channel, since I don't upload anything on there now. Would probably have to remove the Shop link as well, since I'm planning some other stuff for that.
• 03122024 - OH WOW. I finally fixed the header alignment! Apparently, I just had to change some stuff with the CSS. Might also get another post out later. Added another post in the Writing section with the title, "It's Okay to Be Happy for Others".
• 03092024 - Been wanting to post one, but yeah, there's a new post on the website! It's called "Jobs I Got Weren't Solely the Product of My Effort" and the link to it is in the Writing section. It's part of a longer thing, too, so expect additional parts after that. Also, I've been trying to get the site header centered, but man... So if stuff changes on this page, but not in others, you know what's up lol
• 03022024 - Added another log that can be found in the Writing main page. I'm actually still not quite confident about it, but I might as well journal the process or something for accountability. I didn't get to do it when I was streaming, although I do still have copies of my past stream schedules.

February 2024

• 02282024 - Added the Diglett training arc to the Pokemon Yellow log.

• 02202024 - Updated the Ibong Adarna notes. Also, since we're in pretty much a new story arc, there are a few characters added to the list too. That, and I also decided to end the Genshin account fixing log since it's becoming a bit of a needless chore. (and so I can move on to other stuff lol)

• 02152024 - Added to the Ibong Adarna notes. Was going to update a little earlier, but this neck pain is getting to me.

• 01032024 - Currently reading the next part of Ibong Adarna and working on the notes for it (also working on the notes for The Psychological Test). I get the general gist of it, and I'm gonna try to summarize the best I can, but the vocabulary really is something. Makes me wish there are good comprehensive Tagalog dictionaries that don't break the bank lol (the only good one I know of is the one you can get from University of the Philippines).
• 01022024 - Had to do some laundry and cleaning today, so wasn't really up for anything much, but I've put up a webpage where I just dump random stuff I've noticed/learned lol. Better put in some useful things in there ahahah

December 2023

• 12222023 - Added another part to the Ibong Adarna book notes. Was also going to add the one for The Psychological Test, but I was distracted with something else, and so I haven't finished with the summary and the personal thoughts section yet. I have, however, also started with the one for the next story, which is The Caterpillar. As noted a while back, I won't be able to do anything from the 23rd to the 26th.
• 12202023 - Updated the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak Challenge log.
• 12192023 - Added the review for Immortal Life.
• 12182023 - Nope, I was not able to do anything on the 15th lol. But yeah, gonna be preoccupied these coming weeks. Might only be able to do some writing, possibly a book note or review, and maybe a video on the first channel.
• 12142023 - Updated the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak log. Gonna work on either another video or The Psychological Test notes tomorrow. Either way, not going to be able to do anything on Saturday.
• 12132023 - Added the book notes for the first scene for Ibong Adarna. Will likely add notes for The Psychological Test next. Also, just put together the Pidgey training and the Brock battle video for the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak Challenge. Might get to update the log tomorrow... Might.
• 12122023 - Added the main page for the book notes for Ibong Adarna. However, I haven't put in the notes for the first scene yet, so it's just info on the piece in general. Also, today I learned that Darna (the Philippine superhero) does not have her name based on the Adarna bird, and that she's actually inspired by Superman.
• 12112023 - Changed up the Vids link on the menu. It now leads to a local page featuring videos from the two YouTube channels that we have. Will be changing the Shop link eventually, when we get the Ko-Fi shop thing going.
• 12092023 - The Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak Challenge log has been updated.
• 12072023 - We got our Bluesky invite code! As such, the About page is updated.
• 12062023 - Not quite a website update, but got to read The Psychological Test (the next story in Japanese Tales of Mystery and Imagination) and The Caterpillar (the next next story in that compilation). Both pretty interesting short stories so far. Also just finished putting together the next long Genshin video...
• 12022023 - Almost forgot, but the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak log has been updated. Also... Might add and change a few things in the main site menu in the next few days. (If I haven't done anything, it's likely cause I'm too tired lol)
• 12012023 - It's the start of the end of the year, and we got book notes up for The Human Chair by Ranpo Edogawa. Might introduce other books as well instead of just focusing on the compilation, Japanese Tales of Mystery and Imagination, where this short story can be found.

November 2023

• 11272023 - Figured I should just put the book notes here as webpages... Might put one of them up later. Book notes page for I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream is up. Also, changing the donation widget to Ko-Fi.
• 11252023 - Updated the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak log. Been also writing some scripts for future stuff, and I think I should also turn them into articles for posting here. Likely gonna release them at the same time as the videos, if ever.
• 11212023 - Wrote a new entry in the blog. Also, there's a new design up on the shop! I wasn't able to announce it here at the time I posted the design, so now it is. Been thinking of doing digital sticker packs with them at some point, once there are enough of them.
• 11202023 - Updated the Pokemon Yellow Professor Oak log. Also realized I should put something else here too.
• 11172023 - Putting in something here just to let you all know I'm alive lol. That said, though, the Pokemon Yellow log would likely be updated weekly, except for tomorrow cause our family's gonna be going out and I won't have time for it.

• 11092023 - Put in a little experiment in the Writing page.

October 2023

• 10282023 - Updated the menu with the shop button that goes to our currently sparsely populated Threadless shop (here's hoping it can be seen). Also, man, it's almost end of the month! I don't think I'll be going for NaNoWriMo, but at the very least, I'll be writing.
• 10232023 - Been a while since I updated here. See the entry below for what happened with the latest review. Also, been working on them book/story notes! Unlike the other stuff here, we'll likely put them up as PDFs so yeah, they're going to come out slower.
• 10182023 - Thought there were going to be a lot more images to add to the PNGTuber Plus review... Apparently, there's not that much. Decided to put in more of the visual details in the video review, since it involves movement and all. Hopefully that one comes out by around Friday or Saturday. No, video reviews are not happening. Expect something else these next few days.
• 10172023 - Changed that thing I was going to change with the site structure. Gonna be adding some images later. Might not be able to do the images thing yet, since some job openings I've been waiting for have popped up and I gotta get that bread!
• 10162023 - Back from the busy weekend! Also kind of realizing now that the current structure of the site isn't good long term, since I would need to link from the outside to certain pages. I would need to rearrange everything, so expect work to be done on that today lol. Then, if I have time, I'll be fixing up the PNGTuber Plus review. I got almost everything changed, but internet isn't cooperating so I will have to go at it tomorrow.
• 10132023 - No actual update, just saying that I'll probably include the images on Monday, if not tired from laundry lol we're really gonna be tuckered out this weekend.
• 10122023 - Put in a placeholder for the PNGTuber Plus review on the writing main page, and will actually link to it later. We got it written, but we need to edit it, and we've got class soon lol. • 10082023 - Posted our review for Littlewood! It's really nice to play this game, and we might feature some gameplay sometime on YouTube.
• 10042023 - Fixed the images for the reviews, but taking a while to see the results lol. Also would probably focus a bit on preparation for videos.
• 10022023 - First non-repost video game review! Posted the review for WooLoop. Not quite sure what we'll be writing next, but planning things out. Also, gonna fix them images lol

September 2023

• 09292023 - Posted the review for The Rewinder. After we post the next one, we'll likely get to fixing the image sizes, cause they're wildly inconsistent.
• 09272023 - Posted the review for Purrgatory.
• 09252023 - Posted the review for Picma: Picture Enigmas.
• 09232023 - Added a scene for Bramblecage and updated the scene list this time lol. Also, we're going to be posting stuff less often now, since we're gonna have to start planning out and writing again.
• 09222023 - Posted the review for New Meaning.
• 09202023 - Posted the review for Nekopara - Catboys Paradise. Also planning on writing about the game WooLoop. Tried it out recently, and it's pretty nice.
• 09192023 - Added another scene for Bramblecage, and also if you've noticed, there's a little tip section now. Still thinking of whether to use the site tipping thing that Neocities has, but this is what we've decided on for now. Been thinking of putting in other creative stuff here too, so I guess you guys could watch out for it.
• 09182023 - Added the page for the Little Inferno review.
• 09152023 - Okay... Got the Rarebit comic page template to work for text, but we kind of messed up the archive system, so we're just doing it manually. It's not that big of a problem, considering our only concern was how to automatically update the nav buttons, not the archive. Anyway, expect to have Wild Rose Tea and Bramblecage back up soon, with the latter having new pages that we missed updating lol. Now that I think about it, we would have to come up with headers for the stories just to differentiate them from each other.
• 09142023 - Added the page for the I Love You Colonel Sanders review. Still working out how to go about the multi-page stories. We have an alternative idea, but we have to figure out how to do it.
• 09132023 - Changing some stuff for the pages behind the scenes... Mostly trying to change things with the Rarebit template in order to show text instead of comics pages, although we might also use it for comics eventually. Also realized that some of the pages with the collapsible stuff doesn't really look good, so we're changing a few things with those too. Not really sure if we'll be able to make the template thing work or we'll just have to make stuff somewhat from scratch.
• 09122023 - Added the page for the I commissioned some bees 0 review and changed the fonts for the site to make it more chalkboard-like. Now thinking that we would have to revamp some of the pages here, so if they go missing in the next few days, you guys know what's up.
• 09112023 - Added Scene 3 for Bramblecage. Realized we would have to find a way to center the navigation buttons... Also realized it's going to be a lot more work updating later on since it's done manually, but hey, what the heck?
• 09092023 - Added the page for the Grimm's Hollow review and also added the next scene for Bramblecage. Finally uploaded the navigation stuff too.
• 09082023 - Changed the blog link to a local page, which will serve as a more personal blog thing. We're kind of not feeling social media that much right now...
• 09072023 - Added the page for the Firework review. Also took out A Promise Under the Stars for now, since we haven't really written much for that one, and we might just focus on A Pack of Moonlit Drinks and Bramblecage while we're still in our job hunt phase.
• 09062023 - Added the main page and the first scene for Wild Rose Tea. Unlike Some Cake, this is going to be a longer work, so we're going at it little by little.
• 09052023 - Added the page for the Find Love Or Die Trying review. Also changed the name for the dev, since apparently he goes by Auden Cho-Wong. Also, hopefully we don't get too tuckered out tomorrow since we're going out for an appointment.
• 09042023 - Still a little out of it, but we put in the first scene for Bramblecage. There's gonna be navigation stuff there, but we're gonna put it in some other day.
• 09012023 - First update of the month! Added the page for The Doll Shop review. Not going to update tomorrow, since we'll be going out.

August 2023

• 08312023 - Added the page for the Detective Di: The Silk Rose Murders review. Might really just stick to one thing a day since we're taking care of other matters.
• 08292023 - Added the page for the Cave Story's Secret Santa review. Tomorrow, we're not gonna update.
• 08282023 - Added the page for the Blackhaven review. Since we're going to be busy with something else, this might be our only update today.
• 08262023 - Added the page for the Alpaca Stacka review and the main page for Bramblecage. No chapters yet for Bramblecage, though.
• 08252023 - Added the pages for Some Cake and the review for A Taste of the Past. Also put in some notes on the reviews, since they're reposts from our WordPress and Tumblr.
• 08242023 - Added the main page for A Pack of Moonlit Drinks. Put both Some Cake and Wild Rose Tea there, but the links to those don't exist yet since I don't have the pages for them yet. Also changed the font sizes for readability.
• 08232023 - Added the 5 Days a Stranger review. Also been working on editing Some Cake before putting in here.
• 08222023 - Added the writing page, but there are still no links there yet except for the Dagon review.
• 08212023 - Put in the button for the writing page, but it's not functional yet. It's mostly for update's sake.
• 08152023 - Put in some of the menu button things. The only ones we haven't included yet are the ones for the writing page and our shop. Both are in construction.
• 08102023 - Changed a few things with the index, and pretty happy with it except for the alignment lol. If we don't end up being hesitant, we could make them buttons this week.
• 08082023 - Messed with some alignment stuff... Didn't really go the way I want it to, so I think I'll remove it then experiment offline so I know what to do.
• 08072023 - Decided to change a few small but important things regarding the intro up there, also made changes to the About page that's gonna be going up later. Figured there's something that we don't really want. Also duplicating the image and the navigation above for now... Will likely have to use divs and stuff later on.
• ??? - Forgot when we put up the site title graphic up there, but yeah we did. Been working on some of the other pages these past few days, but figured we should make the menu buttons too so there's some visible progress.
• ??? - put in some text for the index, and messed with a bit of the CSS. Haven't really used CSS before, so this is all new to us. And to be honest, considering the changes that's occurred in HTML, we're pretty much back to basics lol.
